About Us

In 1969 by the collective will of Rasikas in this splendorous city of Visakhapatnam. Promotion of fine arts in general and classical Indian music, dance and drama in particular formed its core objective. Needless to mention that the Academy inherited a rich legacy in these cultural forms that we also owe a duty to sustain them for posterity.Visakha Music Academy has been arranging a concert every month regularly, a week long festival annually, in which eminent artistes from all over the country are featured. We also provide platform for projecting the young artistes by organizing mini festival of music and dance annually and present awards and certificates of commendation.

The Academy has thus been rendering yeomen service to the music fraternity during all these 43 years right from the formative years since 1969. The Academy acknowledges with gratitude the gracious support being received from lovers of music and philanthropists.
