About Us



Vizag Information Technology Association (VITA) is a collective body representing the Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) companies and other firms directly supporting the growth of the industry. VITA is led by entrepreneurs and decision makers of private enterprises in the industry.

Vision

To act as a catalyst for the growth of IT & ITES industry of Visakhapatnam.

Mission

Play a vital role in increasing the revenue of IT & ITES companies in Visakhapatnam to Rs. 5000 crores by 2015.

Major Objectives

VITA shall help members prosper and grow from Visakhapatnam. This will enable VITA members to create new opportunities for the benefit of society at large and India's economy in particular.

VITA shall interact and work with all government institutions to enable IT & ITES startups, SMEs and large enterprises to easily set-up, work and grow in Visakhapatnam.

VITA shall interact and collaborate with other industry associations to pursue mutually beneficial goals.

VITA shall form a code of best business practices to simplify and facilitate business.

Executive Body

The Executive Body of VITA shall comprise of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Director (if desired). The Governing Council shall comprise of the Executive Body along with six management committee members.

General Body

The General Body shall consist of all members of the Association including Associate members.
